Come learn how Full Text Search can expand the number of documents you can find for your ancestors. Some of our ancestors are quite elusive\, only mentioned in non-indexed records or legers. Learn to search in these never-before-searchable files! \nKelli Bergheimer is a writer\, teacher\, editor\, author\, and international genealogical speaker. Kelli holds a Bachelor’s in Biology\, a Master’s in Education: Curriculum and Instruction\, and a Master’s in Business Management. Kelli is the Director of Curriculum and Assessments for Blue Kayak\, a K-12 textbook company. She also works as the Director of Education for Your DNA Guide. Kelli runs a small business—Mess on the Desk\, a genealogical organization company with a YouTube channel. Kelli is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

DESCRIPTION:Continue our Ohio Open Doors tour with this special guided walking tour on September 13\, 2026 at 3 PM as we visit six historic churches in downtown Sidney and celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States!\nJoin us afterwards at St. John’s Lutheran Church for a patriotic concert honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11th starting at 5:30 PM. \n*Please note this is a walking tour and will last approximately 2 hours* \nThis tour is FREE\, but requires an RSVP as space is limited. The tour will begin promptly at 3 PM at the Sidney Senior Center located at 304 S. West Ave. Parking is available in the lot behind St. John’s Lutheran Church. SUMMARY:Annual Harvest Festival at Lake Loramie State Park celebrating America 250
DESCRIPTION:Special themed crafts and activities for America 250 are planned in cooperation with the weekend long festival. Crafts open at 4 pm Friday. \nThis long weekend event starts Friday afternoon and concludes Sunday afternoon. It includes a tractor show with demonstrations/contests; variety of food vendors; tractor parade; high school band performances; craft and handiwork tents; activities; evening music. Free parking is available along campground-beach-spillway areas. \nTo ask about camping reservations call 866-644-6727 or online at reserveohio.com. \n\nChildren must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Recreation programs and activities can be inherently dangerous. Participants accept and acknowledge that any injury or property damage that occurs during a program or activity is not the responsibility of ODNR or its naturalist educators.
