Step through the doors and into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights\, handmade decorations\, and the scent of roasted chestnuts in the air. \nLittle elves (and big ones too) can enjoy hands-on holiday crafts\, including gingerbread houses and ornament making—perfect for sparking creativity and making festive memories. Friendly volunteers will guide visitors through each merry moment. \nLive demonstrations of traditional holiday skills offer a peek into how families once prepared for the season—with simple\, heartfelt touches that still inspire today.\nAnd yes\, Santa Claus will be there! Children are invited to share their Christmas wishes and snap a magical photo with the jolly old elf—your first picture is free\, courtesy of SCHS. \nThroughout the center\, guests can nibble on fresh popcorn\, sample roasted chestnuts\, and take in the cozy glow of vintage decorations. DESCRIPTION:  \nWreaths Across America \nJoin us for a meaningful community ceremony as part of the national Wreaths Across America initiative\, honoring the brave men and women who served our country. \nHeld each December\, Wreaths Across America unites communities nationwide in remembrance by placing wreaths on veterans’ graves\, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. \nWreath Pick up will start at 10:00 am.  The Sidney event will begin promptly at 12:00 PM at Graceland Cemetery. A brief ceremony will feature remarks from local veterans and community leaders\, followed by the placement of wreaths across the cemetery.  This year it is our goal\, as America 250 comes to an end\, to honor ALL OF THE VETERANS that are laid to rest in Graceland cemetery by placing a wreath upon their grave. \nEveryone is welcome and encouraged to help lay wreaths following the ceremony. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals\, families\, and groups to participate in a hands-on act of remembrance and gratitude. Remember. Honor. Teach.” Join us in this heartfelt tradition of honoring our heroes\nThis event is free and open to the public.
