Chief Bright Horn
He was one of the three famous
chiefs (Bright Horn, Captain Logan, Captain Johnny) chosen by Col. Johnston to scout for General Harrison in the War of 1812. Bright Horn was with Logan when he was mortally wounded, suffering a thigh injury in the same confrontation. He lived
at Wapakoneta, and was a large, commanding individual who served the American cause
faithfully. He is believed to have died in either 1825 or 1826 at Wapakoneta, Ohio.
