Growing Up Miamian – An America 250 celebration of Miamian Youth

We look back 250 years to the Miamian nation. Compare lifestyle and abilities of children today with children then. Activities are geared toward children, but anyone can participate. Stations will likely include basics in: weaving-beading, target practice, knots, animal identification, tracking, cooking.

Open to public and campers from 10a-noon near the Welcome Center

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Recreation programs and activities can be inherently dangerous. Participants accept and acknowledge that any injury or property damage that occurs during a program or activity is not the responsibility of ODNR or its naturalist educators.
