Membership
Besides supporting the Society's historical efforts, members receive the award-winning monthly newsletter, Historical Highlights, which details upcoming programs, and other Society activities. Each newsletter includes a full-length feature on local history! We are a local, non-profit 501(3) C organization. Also, all members receive a 20% or more discount on Society merchandise.
TIME TRAVELERS NETWORK DISCOUNTS:
Your SCHS membership can save you money as a member of the national network Time Travelers, a group of 169 historical museums and institutions in 41 states. When you visit a network organization and show them your SCHS membership card you will receive either discounted entry, free entry, or discounted merchandise. Other Ohio network members include all 60 Ohio Historical Society sites, including the Piqua Historical area, Neil Armstrong Air & Space in Wapakoneta, and Ohio Village in Columbus.

ROSS LEGACY PARTNERS:
Started in 2003, Ross Legacy Partners was created to encourage additional community participation in The Shelby County Historical Society. To recognize the generosity of these individuals and businesses we highlight members name in every newsletter and provide additional benefits.
