Kid’s Fishing Derby (Hooked on Reeling) – Lake Loramie

This is a no-youth-license-required kid’s morning fishing event, and this year is located near the new welcome center. Fishing is to begin at 8am. All fish must be caught at the lake during the morning of the event, by any aged child – additional questions or information are available at the check-in table.. Measuring starts around 11:30am. Fish can be released or kept once measured. Prizes will be awarded by fish species and child age bracket at noon.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Recreation programs and activities can be inherently dangerous. Participants accept and acknowledge that any injury or property damage that occurs during a program or activity is not the responsibility of ODNR or its naturalist educators.
